In our reading list for each week, we have got a lot of scientific articles and books to relate to. But we also learn to use what can be found on Internet. For instance, TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design – famous thinkers and doers talks) have been used as a valued source for information. Here is one talk about aid versus trade, and here is another one regarding rebuilding broken nations. Many talks on TED are around 20 mins. each.
I also like the short videos on IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development); where among other things you could watch ecotourism in Bolivia.
On gapminder (which btw is a Swedish construction) you will understand numbers (statistics) in a fun way. Take a look on how “poor beats rich in MDG” or get “an insight of slum areas”.
